Day 9

Muhaha, It's me!
Today has been really good, I've done nothing that I wanted to - Instead of doing my homework I was looking at holiday information with my mother, 155 days to go.

Todays photo was something rather different, this photo project is crazy, I had 3 messages this morning asking me where my daily photo was - it's like the buzz. Well I'm happy people like my photos.
Anyway... todays photo had to be taken at night as I have been dying to try light exposures out - it was actually really fun.

Day 9

they don't understand art...

Hello everyone, I'm blogging after dark - first time I've done that for a while!
Today has been lovely, It's been sunny all day, which is really the first all year - we don't get much sun here in England... It sucks.

Todays picture took me ages, because I had to stick about 100 gummy bears on my wall - it actually took me longer to take them all off I think. Then my parents went mad, they don't understand art...

 Day 8

Then my father and I in the afternoon went to this quarry and canal to take some pictures so I could check out my new camera lens as I've only taken portrait pictures with my normal lens up until now.

1000 gummy bears.

It's Friday! Which means meal night, whoop whoop - I want to go to Frankie and Bennie's tonight, I fancy a cajun chicken pizza.

Kind of a late start to the day, I got up at about 10:00ish.
Went straight onto my 365 day photo. It was kind of a disappointing one for me today as I had SO many amazing ideas which all came out really bad, maybe I shouldn't over think things too much. However, I got a lovely message from this person who said he was very impressed by it and didn't understand why I disliked it so much, I've been told to be less negative with my photos.
I really do have an really cool idea for tomorrows photo though, it involves buying about 1000 gummy bears.

Day 7

I don't really have anything planned for this afternoon, I like it that way - more interesting things happen. Yesterday I baked Mr Men cakes with a friend, took us back years as we used to bake loads when we were little.

what can you do?

I'm shattered, was up until 1:00am this morning watching 90210, oh dear.
I have a load to do today, but I really can't be bothered to do any of it... I'm in SUCH a good mood as the sun is shining and there is blue sky out! I can't wait until summer, I really can't.

Anyway, last night I got to open my new camera... however this ceremony was shortly interupted by my brother losing his memory stick in the space of 10 minutes - So we all went on a massive hunt in the three rooms he could have lost it in, we literally spent about an hour and none of us found it, in fact he still hasn't found it this morning.
It's kind of ironic that he can't remember where he put his memory stick, don't you think?

So this morning I was messing around with my new lenses, I've probably got a LOAD of dust in them now and my dad will go barmy... what can you do?

Day 6's shot was the hardest and easiest yet. Hardest because it took me, no joke, about an hour to write on the stickies with a ball point pen and then they kept falling off me, but also the easiest because I have a setting on my camera where I can continually self timer take photos so I didn't have to keep going up to my tripod every two seconds to take one.

MY CANON 1000D JUST CAME,

I'm shattered as I was up until 12:30am this morning especially so I could take my Day 5 photo as I needed darkness, but in the end it didn't come out how I wanted so I just ended up taking another one this morning anyway - typical.

Day 5

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

No joke I had about 10 minutes to take this photo.
I'm really mega surprised that I've got to day 5, my brother said that I wont be able to keep it up longer than two weeks - so now I have to prove him wrong.

OH MY GOD! MY CANON 1000D JUST CAME, like the door just literally rang and I just signed for it... my brother opened it so I wouldn't get done for opening dads mail, well now I have time to check out my sick new lens before tomorrows photograph. Goodbye I'm cutting this blog post short, I have something to keep me occupied now.

Here's Day 4...

You have NO idea how knackered I am.
I had to get up rather early this morning as my brother was looking around Universities, I didn't even have time to take my 365 day photo.
I've decided that minus the location and the smallness of Uni
versity accommodation, It all looks rather fun - I can't believe it'll be me in three years time.
My feet are throbbing as I wore boots for the whole tour, thankfully it was a private tour so we didn't have to lug around with a load of people... and on the plus side I managed to get out of my dad that he finally ordered my new camera and image stabilizer lens and that it's in the post - hopefully it'll arrive later this week so I can continue my project with an SLR camera rather than my point and shoot... I do think however, it's the person who makes a good photographer not how good his camera is - although my dad pointed out, having a good camera also helps.

Here's Day 4...

maybe this project will change that.

So, I woke up as bright as sunshine... very early.
Decided to touch up a few bits of my new song and decided whilst I'm there to do my 365 days photo. It was quite a fun one to do really, I still have the notes on my wall and my room is now a complete mess.
I'm not 100% pleased with it, my face looks weird, but anyone who knows me knows that I'm never completely happy with a picture of myself - maybe this project will change that.

So, I'm by myself for the rest of the morning and afternoon, later I'm going to try and start my history coursework. For now I'm going back to my guitar for a bit.

Update - I just got a message saying;
